Silver Cloud Inn - Mukilteo Waterfront

The room’s fireplace made the stay so relaxing, and we both slept great. I’ve never stayed somewhere so quiet, and the beds were super comfortable too. We were absolutely delighted with our honeymoon here. The views were incredible both day and night, and getting a late checkout for our honeymoon night made it feel extra special.

Don’t make eye contact with the seagulls. They’ll try to hypnotize you into letting them into the breakfast buffet. They look like they’ve had enough snacks and could use some Jazzersize. The hotel was very clean and accessible, the towels were soft, and breakfast was lovely. The view is spectacular, and it’s just a hop, skip, and a jump from the ferry and good dining. We had a relaxing, great time and would come back in a heartbeat.

The breakfast was smaller than at some big hotels, but much better. Everything tasted good and felt made with care, so I looked forward to it each morning. The staff were friendly too. I spent two nights here on business and felt more comfortable than I have in quite a while. It’s a small hotel, but everything was great: clean rooms, a very comfortable bed, and working AC. Hopefully I’ll be back one day.

The only small drawbacks were the lack of a balcony and the 4 PM check-in, though they kindly let us into our room at 3 PM. Otherwise, this was exceptional, easily one of Washington’s best romantic waterfront hotels and one of the nicest jetted tub suites we’ve stayed in anywhere. Our King Jacuzzi® Oceanfront Suite at Silver Cloud Inn Mukilteo was spotless. Beside the fireplace was a two-person jetted tub by a window overlooking the ocean, with chromotherapy lighting that made it feel special at night. The room also had high-end Aveda bath products, a Keurig coffee maker, plush robes, and a lovely walk-in rain shower for two. Downstairs, the free hot breakfast came with ocean views and a fireplace, and covered parking was included. The late 12 PM checkout was a nice bonus after a relaxed morning.
