Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mukwonago

We keep coming back because it’s near a family member’s home, though I probably wouldn’t stay here for another reason. The breakfast is average to a little better. What puts me off is the atmosphere around the back: there are usually one or two men hanging around as we come and go, and this time I saw piles of beer bottles beside the back door, next to the trash but not in it. Loud music played in the parking lot from 10 pm until around 2 am.

The shower was nice and the AC worked great, though the room had a slight odor and was only decent otherwise. When I arrived, the front desk workers were all outside. I walked past them with my bags, waited at the desk for a bit, and eventually one of them came in.

I was only there for a few hours and just used the room to sleep, so I can only speak to the room and staff. The staff were really friendly and helpful. My room was fresh and very clean, with no smell or mold like some others mentioned, and the bed was very comfortable. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The nice front desk staff and fun pool for the kids keep us coming back once or twice a year. I’ve stayed here for five years, mostly because there isn’t another hotel in Mukwonago. Still, in each of the last two years we’ve had to switch rooms because one smelled like mildew. The place could use some TLC, new carpeting, and a bit of investment to clean things up. The location is great, and the people are good.
