Days Inn by Wyndham Muncie -Ball State University

The front desk service was terrible. I said hello when I came in and the woman didn’t respond or even look up at me. After I said I had a reservation, she told me the total. Once I paid, she handed over the key and walked away. She didn’t say where my room was or when breakfast was, if there was any. It was so strange that she never once looked at me.

This was the worst stay we’ve ever had, and we travel a lot. My husband and stepson were there for three days for work. They went to work after their first night, and when they came back someone had gone through their things and stolen our son’s medicine. We reported it at the desk, and the woman said it was probably their new housekeeper. The next day my husband spoke with a man at the desk because someone had gone through their bags again. Somehow, they ended up getting kicked out. The beds felt like cots, the walls were so thin you could hear everything, and the staff were very rude. We’ll never return. Don’t recommend it, stay away.

I was happy to find no carpet in the room, and it smelled good. I stayed three nights for a dog show, having been here before, and saw it had been remodeled. The location is great, in a quieter area with plenty of grass for dogs. Everything in my clean room worked, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was great. I was surprised and pleased that housekeeping came daily while I was at the show. The floor was mopped, beds made, and fresh towels, soap, and shampoo left. Staff were friendly too. When the TV remote wouldn’t change channels, the woman at the desk came in and fixed it right away. I’ll stay again next year. Breakfast was the usual continental spread: toast, cereal, muffins, bananas, a waffle maker, and yogurt. No eggs or sausage.

The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and it had all the amenities I needed. The location was good too. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it.
