Super 8 By Wyndham Murdo

We left very disappointed with how we were treated and with the lack of communication. Our email confirmation clearly said we’d requested a hide-a-bed, but the front desk said there was no note about an extra bed in the reservation. They blamed it on us booking through a third party, even though we called the same number listed on the hotel’s own website. Nobody tried to sort it out, so one person in our group had to sleep on the dirty floor. The staff member spoke to us condescendingly, as though we were wrong to be upset.

We needed somewhere to sleep late at night, but the hotel quoted us $160 for a room and wouldn’t honor the $85 price. I’m not paying that for a two-star Super 8 when I could drive an hour and a half and get the same price at the Comfort Inn & Suites or Holiday Inn. Just a warning for other travelers: we refused to pay $160.

When I really needed help, Sheila took such good care of me and went above and beyond. Her support was amazing. Thank you for being so thoughtful and considerate.

I didn’t have a reservation after another hotel in town screwed me over, but the gentleman at the front desk said there was a room available and gave me the price. I took it, and the service was great. The hotel is right off I-90 in murdo, with a gas station and Subway across the street. The room was very clean, though there was a scrubbing pad on the floor when I arrived, which I threw away, probably left by the cleaners. The showerhead could use replacing, but it worked. Great stay for a great price, and I’d stay again if I get the chance.
