Best Western Murfreesboro

I’m in Murfreesboro for work a couple of times a month, but this was my first and last stay at this hotel. The interstate noise is deafening all day and night, so I got very little rest. The desk clerk agreed to a 1230pm late checkout, but at 11am the next day, housekeeping was knocking hard and asking for a code the clerk hadn’t given them. I won’t be back. There are more reasonably priced hotels nearby with better service.

The shower was awesome, and the room and sheets were clean. The people were nice too. The bed felt a bit too soft for us, but it was a good stay overall.

It was almost midnight and pouring rain, so I was delighted to have such a pleasant check-in. The clerk was kind and helpful. Another customer was upset about noise outside, and he dealt with it quickly and cheerfully. He also made sure my room was away from that noise. He’s the reason I gave such a high rating.

The bathtub was dirty, and the sheets weren’t clean either. I asked the housekeeper for fresh ones, but she refused. Luckily, my husband and I had brought a blanket and slept on top of the covers. I raised the issue with the woman at the desk when we checked out, but they wouldn’t compensate us. I still paid $109.00 for the room. I won’t stay there again.
