Comfort Suites Murfreesboro Shopping District

The rooms are clean and comfortable, but what keeps bringing me back to Comfort Suites while I’m working out of town is Julie. She remembers me and greets me with a friendly face every time. We laugh and smile, and it makes being away from home easier. Thanks, Julie.

I’ll stay here again next time I’m in town. The staff were really helpful, and the room was great. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows seemed new.

The housekeepers were nice, but a large, unfriendly man seemed to be in charge of them. He sat behind the desk doing nothing, and when I asked, he said he didn’t work there. That felt creepy. We also had multiple extra charges on our card that weren’t disclosed. I asked for a walk-in shower because I’d just had a knee replacement, but got a step-up tub shower instead. I asked to switch to a walk-in the next day and was told one would be held for us, but it wasn’t. The room was filthy, the refrigerator didn’t work, and neither did the heater or air conditioning. The whole place smelled like an old bowling alley. We will never be back, and I don’t recommend it.

Our room was so unsanitary that I was disgusted. There was blood splattered across the bathroom railing, floor, and walls. I told the front desk and asked for the manager, Harry, but he wasn’t there. They gave me his card and said to email him, and that he’d contact me the next morning. I never heard from him. Instead, I got an updated credit card receipt showing a $25 discount, with no message or call. My family had stayed one night while traveling for a softball tournament. We tried this hotel after reading recent reviews, and I’d recommend any other hotel.
