Best Western Muscatine / Pearl City Hotel

It's right by the restaurants and Walmart, but the room had garbage on the floor when I checked in and no TV remote. I had to call to get one. The bathroom and shower were disgustingly gross, and the bathtub wouldn't drain.

There were baked cookies waiting for us, and the room was just what we needed for a few hours of sleep before getting back on the road. Jamie at the front desk was extremely kind and warm, and helped me out when I needed to book a same day, late night reservation. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that the bathroom floor was a bit dusty and needed a better clean. Everything else was great.

We've come back several times and won't hesitate to book here again on our next trip to Muscatine. It's close to everything, clean, has breakfast, and the staff are friendly.

We've stayed here around five times, and it's always been a fun time for me and my family. One visit, our room's TV didn't work, but they moved us quickly, which was nice. The people above us have also stomped around and kept us up on several stays. We contacted the front desk, but nothing was done, so it became a repeat issue. Another time, a woman at the desk got angry because we were in the lobby at 1:00 A.M. playing UNO without making a ruckus. I think she'd been fired or moved on by the later visits. Some staff have been rude or unhelpful, and there have been a few minor hassles, but we still enjoy staying here.
