The room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, and I felt safe during my one night here while passing through. For the price, I don't think there's better value around. They had breakfast in the morning and plenty of parking, and we got to look at some of the themed rooms, though we didn't stay in one. They give the place a lot of character. I also met the owners, who seem to be renovating and revamping the large property. If I'm back in the area, this will be my first choice.

The front entrance looks nice, but things go downhill from there. Staff weren't available. The internet was extremely slow. Breakfast was basic: toast with no jelly, cereal, aging apples and oranges, coffee, juice, and lemonade. In the bathroom, the hot water was only warm; it was small, the towels were thin, the soap was unwrapped, and there was no shampoo, conditioner, or hair dryer. The heat and AC controls were broken, and the TV wasn't good. It might do if you just need somewhere to sleep, but don't expect anything outstanding.

I got a suite with a hot tub and satellite TV, and it was great. The property has been around for years under different owners. The current people are doing great, especially with such a big place to renovate.

I haven't even stayed here, and the service has already been awful. I called with a few questions and they hung up on me. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Food places are really convenient from here. There's a gas station just a block away, and Walmart is about three minutes away.
