Delta Hotel by Marriot Muskegon Downtown

The rooms were updated, very nice, and clean, with comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, and fresh linen. We came for the Michigan state bowling tournament and found everything was about 10 minutes away. There’s a good restaurant on site, but I wouldn’t recommend the fish and chips because the portion was tiny. The manager was kind enough to discount that meal for one person in our group.

Snow forced us to book another night unexpectedly, and everyone was welcoming. When I asked the front desk for a shovel after being snowed in, they called Maintenance to help me get out. Dan was awesome, moving my car and clearing off the snow. The bar food was decent, and the rooms were clean, updated, and comfy. Loved my stay!

Dinner and breakfast were awesome, and the rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable, about a 7/10, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was $14, and I’d stay again. My only complaints were the loud toilet, which could wake people when flushed, and not being able to run the fan all night for background noise. I had to play white noise on my phone.

After our MI adventure, my family and I stayed overnight, and we’d come back. The location was great, with views from the rooms and entertainment and food within walking distance. The room was tidy, the beds comfortable, and the a/c worked amazingly well. There was a mini fridge, plus a well-equipped gym. The pool room was lovely and had towels for the kids.
