Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Muskogee

The property itself was clean, but everything else about the stay was awful. When I reported excessive noise from the room next door, a staff member yelled at me. Guests shouldn't be met with hostility for raising a real concern. A relative of mine worked here before and was constantly talked about, treated badly, and bullied by staff, which was one of the main reasons they quit. That kind of toxic workplace shouldn't be normal. People may say that's just life, but management needs to improve the staff if it wants happier guests and a better reputation. The staff's attitude and professionalism need major work, and management should rethink who they employ and replace people who mistreat guests and coworkers. This is why the hotel has a three-star reputation. If I ever had to come back, I'd avoid it at all costs. It was that terrible, and I still have more to say about the experience.

We had a pleasant stay and will probably come back. The rooms were spacious, and we got a free upgrade. Tira at the front desk was amazing and gave us helpful advice about places to eat nearby. The 7-3 lady was great too, especially when we had a small issue, though unfortunately I didn't catch her name. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The TV couldn't connect to Wi-Fi, so Netflix and YouTube weren't options, and the dish service was spotty, with limited channels coming through. No one mentioned that at the front desk, and it wasn't on the little slip of paper with the Wi-Fi password either.

I was here for work, but on my last night I slept in the rental car. The mattress was so hard I could feel the springs, the room smelled like old mop water, and there were ants everywhere. They have the nerve to charge close to $200. I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was clean and organized, and the staff seemed like wonderful people. They were friendly and helpful. The hotel was being renovated while I was there.
