The location was great, and thanks to the front desk for helping us throughout the stay and arranging a partial refund. We couldn’t reach the owners of unit #105, which we’d booked through a third-party vendor that owns that particular unit. We paid over a grand for three days, then spent part of our vacation buying cleaning supplies and cleaning the condo just to make it halfway comfortable. The air didn’t work, and we won’t stay here again. The place had not been cleaned before we arrived. There were feces stuck between the toilet hinges, blood on covers and pillows in one room, mold on the ceilings of two rooms, bugs everywhere, dirt in the bathtub, and old trash in the bins. Acrylic nails and crumbs were scattered around, towels and rags had brown stains, the walls were stained, and the floor was disgusting. Silverware had food on it, and the cookware had leftover oil and food stains. The vents were full of lint and seemed like a fire hazard. It was a nightmare. The unit’s owners seemed to care only about getting paid, not guests’ safety or satisfaction.

One of the best places we’ve stayed. The kitchen was well stocked, and getting to the beach was easy from this great location. A few small issues came up, but they were handled quickly and easily. Communication was good, and the staff were friendly. Definitely consider staying here if you’re coming to Myrtle Beach.

The grounds are clean and the building is quiet, which made for a relaxing, really good stay in a perfect location. A few things could be improved: bring your own toiletries, dishwashing detergent, and laundry detergent. The unit could use better utensils and an update, and the mattresses need to be better quality.

The ocean view was amazing, and the condo was so quiet at night with strict rules about noise after 10. We stayed August 3-9, and all the balconies were open, despite what I’d read in some reviews. BALCONIES ARE NOW OPEN. 😆 Unit 105 was spotless and up to date, with a comfortable, almost home-like feel and all the amenities we needed. It can sleep 6-8, though 6 would be comfortable. Check-in was electronic, which was convenient, and there’s no front office. My only other gripe was that the pools could’ve been cleaner. We didn’t have room service, so I gave that a 1. Having to strip all the beds and leave the bedding by the washer and dryer before leaving was new to us, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. We’d recommend this condo and come back.

There were seven of us at Carolina Dunes for a friend’s 60th birthday, and the stay helped make the celebration go the way we’d hoped. We were very happy there. It felt like home.
