The rooms are disgusting. They aren’t cleaned properly, and there are bedbugs all over. I saw fingerprints on the bed border too. I asked twice for fresh sheets, but the sheets I got had cockroaches in them. They’re rude as well. There are cockroaches everywhere, which is especially gross when you think about them serving breakfast.

I drove 16 hours from Illinois expecting a good vacation, and what a disappointment this was. We left Days Inn Oceanfront almost right away, drove up to N. Myrtle Beach, and found a great resort for a little more per night. We couldn’t be happier to have left. This place was dirty, falling apart, and felt unsafe. There was hair in the tub and beds, plus something hairy in the tub drain. The door lock was broken and the a/c didn’t work. The walls had streaks and peeling paint, parts of the ceiling were falling in, and the cracked door frames looked like they’d been kicked in and pieced back together. The elevator was sketchy and smelled of rotten shrimp and pee, and the parking spaces were too small. It was also infested with cockroaches. This is nowhere near Wyndham quality, and I can’t see why they’d put their name on this dumpster fire. It’s the worst hotel I’ve been in. The one star required to post this review is far too generous; I’d give it negative 100.

The balcony was so relaxing, and I had a very calm, restful stay at the Days Inn, Myrtle Beach beachfront. My two-bedroom place had a kitchen and plenty of space, so my brother and his girlfriend could join me for Christmas dinner and be comfortable. I also booked a room for my brother and earned lots of points.

We had nothing to eat, so there was no mess to clean up, but the morning desk woman was rude and lazy. She even told us to hurry because she was done and tired of cleaning up after children. On Saturday December 13th 2025, she was late putting breakfast out, and when we arrived at the time it was supposed to be ready, she had put out nothing at all. There was no yogurt, bagels, cereal, milk, or juice. The cereal was covered but the dispenser was full, and when I asked for milk, she said there wasn’t any. When I pointed out the cereal, she asked, “It’s covered, isn’t it? So there is none.” She spoke to me like I was a child. The place was great, but that front desk woman was the worst. If you don’t want to do your job, don’t take the job.

Our room’s carpet was soaked after heavy rain because the large oceanfront window had a bad seal. This hotel was below par, though the price wasn’t bad, even if it could have been a little more reasonable. A lot of hotels along the Blvd. seem to fall short on service. I can only guess it’s because of staffing issues, but I don’t know.
