The grounds are always kept nice, though over the past year the outside of the buildings hasn't been maintained as well as it used to be. I've lived here for several years, and it's a nice place, with ups and downs like anywhere. I wish they'd build a small park for children. They say liability is too high, which doesn't make sense to me with a pool on the property and grills all around. The older security guard, Larry, isn't very nice and often gives his two cents when it's not part of his job. We want a park!

The company has refused a partial refund or apology and is choosing to lie about what happened. The place has a good location, but don't book unit 2D at the 1310 building, owned and operated by one man through what seems to be his solo company, “Vision Vacation Victories.” I don't think he manages the whole building, just that unit. He came into our apartment before checkout, didn't say who he was, and tried to throw us out. Our listing and confirmation email said checkout was 10-12, so we thought we had until noon. He said it was 10 a.m. and we had to “get out NOW.” We repeatedly said we'd leave by 12, but couldn't go sooner because my car was in the shop and I had to go pick it up. He left, then came back with police and falsely told them we refused to leave. By the end, the officer was apologizing to us and had to stay with the property manager until we could get out. The manager still hadn't said who he was, kept getting in my boyfriend's face, and yelled at his mother. We left by 12, exactly as we'd said and as our listing and confirmation stated. It was the most unprofessional and aggressive thing I've experienced while traveling. Imagine staff entering your room while you're packing, tossing their things down, and shouting for you to leave right away, then bringing police to your door and making your special needs sister cry. Don't book with this location or company through booking.com, air bnb, or anywhere else.

The neighborhood is clean and quiet, and there's a nice, large pool. The complex is in a prime spot, close to attractions and restaurants. Grand Strand Hospital is nearby, and the airport is straight down the road.

The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the pool and hot tub were lovely. The Housekeeping Manager was pleasant, and the maintenance guy was nice and friendly. But the stay was horrible, and the treatment we received was despicable. We went from a beautifully decorated, clean, cool condo to one that was dirty, damaged, and poorly decorated. The resort manager Ivan needs customer service training. We were first told we could leave and wait for a refund, then offered a 15% discount to stay in a hot condo, moved into a dirty condo, and finally offered a free one-night stay. We were spoken to disrespectfully because Bike Week meant there were no other rooms available. Our birthday and girls' trip weekend was ruined. The grounds and pool are why this gets two stars.
