Jonathan Harbour

The ocean view from the balcony was stunning, and sitting there listening to the waves was a lovely way to unwind. After a rough start at the not-so-great hotel next door, finding Jonathan Harbour was a huge relief. The price was unbeatable for the location, and the updated room was clean, cozy, and had a relaxing beachy feel that made us feel at home. Renovations are still happening, but you can already see improvements taking shape. Lenay, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. She was friendly, professional, and clearly attentive to our stay. Thomas was incredibly helpful and kind, too. We felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. It's a peaceful, beautiful oceanfront spot at a great rate. I highly recommend Jonathan Harbour for welcoming service, affordability, and ocean views. I'll definitely return.

We haven't had a better stay in Myrtle Beach in a long time. Lashay and Thomas are amazing, and the rooms are so beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

Even while renovations and updates are underway, this historic, beautiful building is being brought toward top-star accommodation on the south myrtle beach grand strand. The rooms, including 509, have elegant design details and decor that make them feel fresh and relaxing, with high cleanliness standards and an inviting charm. I'm very grateful for the great courtesy and care from the deeply professional, attentive staff and the whole Johnathan Harbor hotel team. -Ben R

Our kids loved the layout, especially the privacy of having doors between the living room and bedroom. The hotel worked well for rolling straight onto the beach. The rooms are a little dated, but they update them each year, and ours had a brand-new dishwasher. It was clean when we moved in, with clean floors, bathroom, and kitchen. Staff were friendly, the A/C was strong and cold, and the balcony had beautiful, unobstructed ocean views. Even during a busy holiday week, the pool was well maintained. Construction on the new hotel next door didn't keep us from having a peaceful, relaxing week. It was a great experience for us.
