The pools were the best part for me, especially the indoor lazy river, and they weren't busy when we went. The regular lazy river and pool were fine, too. The indoor and outdoor pools seemed decent when not crowded, and there was a small arcade. The property has lots of rooms. It doesn't allow smoking, so keep that in mind. We chose the place for the water park, which is just a couple of slides, but it was closed when we went. That was the only reason we were there, so check whether it's open. We were supposed to get an ocean view but had what I'd call an angled view from the side of the hotel instead. Our standard double room was decent, though the microwave was small. The entry light flickered and wouldn't stay on, so we used the table lamp. The instructions said to leave the keys in the room, but that may be outdated, and the keys open more than the paper says, so we should've kept them until we were done. We didn't eat at the restaurant, though its prices seemed reasonable for a hotel. The parking garage wasn't secure, the neighborhood didn't look great, and some cars there looked abandoned. I think the hotel has potential, but would need more time, effort, staff, and changes to how it operates and trains people. We didn't have time to go to the beach.
