The room was spotless, which really stood out: clean linens and towels, dishes, bathroom, and floors. It looked partly renovated too, with new flooring and newer furniture. The ocean view from every room is a big plus, the location is great, and I appreciated that the hotel welcomes dogs. We stayed at Ocean Park Resort for two nights and, honestly, I'd give it about 3 stars overall. The older walls, doors, and ceiling looked worn and were falling apart in spots, despite some updates. There was no hot water, the inside door lock was broken, and the bathroom sink barely drained because it was clogged. The humidity was the biggest issue. After just two days, our clothes felt wet in an open suitcase and even the sheets were damp. Sleeping felt cold, uncomfortable, and unpleasant with all that moisture in the air. Hotel management really needs to put dehumidifiers in the rooms. We booked through Airbnb, and communication was poor. After a long drive, we found out the hotel entrance needed a code that nobody had sent us, which added unnecessary stress. The location, cleanliness, and views give the hotel potential, but the humidity and maintenance problems seriously affected our stay.

We loved the rooms and how pet friendly the place was. Views, convenience, and affordability, it had it all. Everyone on-site, from the guests to the Staff, was great. We'll definitely come back, and I highly recommend staying here on your next beach trip!

Being right by the ocean made this stay even better. The room was clean and comfortable, and I especially liked the wood-style flooring, so much nicer than carpet. Dog-friendly too. Lower-level parking was a great bonus, especially in the hot season.

The ocean view was beautiful, and check-in went smoothly. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. Getting inside was a little annoying, though. The entry code was as long as your ssn, and you had to enter it fast, so don't get too twisted or you'll be in for a long night 🤣. The room had an old smell, but a little bath and body works eucalyptus room spray fixed it. I sprayed everything. The tub also didn't drain all the way during showers, which was annoying, but we made it work. Good hotel for the money.

The room was extremely nice and clean, and being right on the beach meant great views and easy beach access. The door was the one problem. You have to enter the code by hand, and it takes forever. If you don't type it fast enough, you have to start over.
