Never again. The room was filthy, run-down, and crawling with bugs. The linens had blood and urine stains, and I found live insects in the bed along with hair and little bits of bug droppings. They said it wasn’t that bad, then claimed they inspected the room the next morning and found nothing. Outside the room, the elevator was old and scary, and the hallways smelled awful. Don’t stay here.

The ocean view was lovely, and the beach was clean and well kept. The room itself wasn’t dirty, just very old, and the area seemed to be dying, with most places already closed. We booked through Booking after seeing photos of a really nice room, but the door lock didn’t work right, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the fridge froze all our food. If you want a nice vacation, I’d choose somewhere else.

Both pools were empty, so neither was open. The room was clean, everything in it worked, and the balcony view was excellent. There’s an ice machine on the third floor, but no other vending machines for snacks or drinks. Housekeeping won’t come in unless you ask. When I’ve had questions, they’ve gotten back to me quickly, and we haven’t had many problems here. The Wi-Fi was weak but usable. For the price, it’s not a bad stay.

I stayed in an Airbnb, thankfully, rather than booking directly with the resort. What was once an enormous place with buildings, water parks, and pools now looks abandoned and in rough shape. None of the pools or the water park are open, the elevator is broken, and there’s no one at the front desk to help. Some buildings are deserted, while others are apartments in very poor condition.
