We spent six winter weeks in unit 407 on the sunrise side, when there were fewer people around. The condo is in the gated, safe Kingston plantation, and B2 vacations was responsive, with a location nearby. Shuttles go to local spots, and Tanger outlets and walmart are both about a mile away. The best part of the unit was the outdoor sitting area off the second bedroom, where we could watch the ocean, sunrise, and moonrise. There are also balconies off the living room and second bedroom, and the main bedroom. The chairs are comfortable and high enough to see over the railings. This side faces the parking lot and stays shady once the sun is up. The building is older, though the main areas and hallways aren't dirty. The unit is dated and could use some love. It has carpet, but it wasn't dirty. The beds were okay. The knives are dull, and a baking sheet and another baking dish would be useful, but it was still not bad. There was hammering all day in the unit above us, apparently for a new floor or something, so noise from upstairs could be an issue.

The beach was beautiful and clean, and it was easy to get there from the condo. Parking was convenient too. Inside, we had plenty of space with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a nice kitchen, dining table, and living room. There were three balconies, and the place was super clean and quiet. We stayed in room 1207, booked through VRBO. The owner answered questions quickly and checked in to make sure we had what we needed. I'd definitely come back.

The good stuff first: our family had a spacious three-bedroom condo, with a balcony off each bedroom and a view of the sunrise. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, the room decor was cute, and the dining table fit all of us. Common areas were clean, and the employees I spoke with were nice. I don't usually complain, and I've worked in housekeeping and clean Airbnbs on the side, so I know things can get overlooked. The cleaning in the condo, though, left a lot to be desired. Sand and hair were in three of the six beds, the main bedroom comforter smelled like an animal and needed washing, and we had to run mugs, plates, and utensils through the dishwasher before using them. The dresser drawers in the last bedroom needed vacuuming, and there was hair in the showers. The AC barely worked, probably because of the filters. We basically had to clean the whole condo before unpacking. Since we weren't part of the resort, the two pools we could use were only open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. That meant no night swimming, which my kids and I usually do after shopping. I've never stayed somewhere with a pool closing that early. There were dogs everywhere, even though signs said owners and guests couldn't bring pets, so that rule didn't seem enforced. We could also hear the neighbors, especially upstairs, though that's not unusual in an apartment. I attached photos of the good and bad.

The views of the beach from the living room and all three bedrooms were wonderful. We stayed in rooms 305 and 305A last week, 4/6/23. The condo was nice and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and three bathrooms. The main bedroom bathroom has a walk-in shower, which worked great for our parents.

We checked in, saw the room, and got a refund. It was dirty, broken, loud, and not updated, and definitely wasn't worth nearly $400 a night. The supposed ocean view was a stretch. Dogs were still there despite the claim that they aren't allowed. I wish I'd taken photos, but I left too quickly. There are much nicer hotels for similar prices. They didn't fight us on the refund, which makes it seem like they know the place is a dump. This is the first one-star review I've left, but I want to warn people. Don't make my mistake. I'm waiting for an Uber to our new hotel now.
