Delamar Mystic

The free shuttle to places within a 3-4 mile radius made getting around so easy, and it really added to our stay. La Plage was excellent too, with fresh food, good drinks, and a cozy but upscale atmosphere. The hotel itself is gorgeous and welcoming, and every staff member treated us wonderfully from arrival through checkout. We enjoyed it so much we hated to leave. We’ll definitely return.

Even with everything closed and the weather against us, spending time at Delamar Mystic was enjoyable on its own. The river view was so peaceful, and the room was spotless, warmly lit, and comfortable for coffee or getting a little work done. The bathroom products were high quality and the shower got nice and hot. The staff made a snowy weekend feel easy. Check-in was quick, and the front desk said to call if we needed anything. Penny was sweet and knew the surrounding area when we chatted before lunch at La Plage. When it was time to leave, Harry drove me to my car in the hotel’s VW electric van, then stayed to help when I couldn’t back out of the slippery spot. I really appreciated that. I was impressed by the attention to detail and how warmly everyone greeted me. I’d happily recommend staying here.

For our anniversary, my girlfriend and I found a handwritten note, chocolates, and champagne waiting in the room. Such a thoughtful surprise. The made-to-order breakfast that was included was excellent, and the complimentary car service took us to and from our destinations all weekend. Everyone we met on staff was kind and professional. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it.

We’ve traveled all over, but it’s nice to find a getaway this lovely so close to home. We’re already planning another date night at Delamar Mystic. The room was exquisite, and waking up to the frozen Mystic River in a plush robe felt like a movie scene. The decor and colors are beautiful throughout, with a glowing fire in the lounge and thoughtful details everywhere. Brayden made check-in effortless. Stephen and Donnie at valet were welcoming and offered fun local tips, and the young woman driving the electric VW to Oyster Club made the short trip pleasant. We had snacks at the bar, excellent cocktails, and food that hit the spot. The Nespresso machine in the room was handy, and the chocolate balls in a mason jar were a lovely treat.
