The only space that felt cramped was the toilet, bath, and shower room. I’d trade away a little of the huge living area to make that room bigger. Otherwise, this was a lovely stay and I’d highly recommend it. I booked at the last minute on my @TravelingDoulaNCS road trip. The room was huge and felt up to date, though I’m not sure how old the building is. The bedding and pillows were allergy-free, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure and temperature were spot on. Breakfast had the usual full hot options and plenty of seating. Check-in and checkout staff were very friendly.

We had four people and needed three beds, so the two queens and sofa bed worked perfectly. The room was well arranged, organized, and clean, with spotless bathroom and living areas. Staff were welcoming, and check-in was easy. We stayed one night during a day trip to Mystic. My only complaint is about the cleaning product smell, which is an issue I find in many hotels. The lobby had a bit of an antiseptic scent when we came in. It wasn’t bad, but I’d suggest unscented products. The room itself didn’t have that smell.

We came for a quick overnight to try Mystic’s food scene, and the hotel added a lot to the trip. After a full day out, the spacious, very clean rooms were a relaxing place to come back to. Every staff member we dealt with was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive. It was a wonderful stay.

The location is beautiful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Amy at the front desk was fantastic. She gave us lots of useful advice about where to go in town and where to park, and even found detergent for us when we got a stain on an item of clothing. We loved our weekend in Mystic!

The hotel is next to the highway and a graveyard. We arrived half an hour before check-in and weren’t allowed into the room early, even though there was no sign of housekeeping when we went up later. Our room was beside a very noisy ice maker. They offered another room next to the elevator, and the hotel didn’t seem busy.
