Comfort Suites Nacogdoches

Carman makes a great breakfast. Redd R. welcomed me warmly when I first walked in, and after my first night I spoke with Amber about the room. She was very helpful. If you need somewhere to stay, I recommend this place.

Jennifer at the desk was friendly and helpful. The rate was reasonable, and the room was clean and well stocked. The bed was super comfortable.

I was mostly sad and disappointed that the pool was too cold to use. I flew in from Washington State for Christmas with my family, including my grandkids, and before booking I called to check that the pool was operating normally. The front desk said yes. I was on a tight budget, and had been looking forward to using the “heated” pool. It was open, but freezing, so we couldn’t bring ourselves to get in. An employee said the pool guy had just checked it and said it was 82 degrees, which didn’t seem accurate at all. Later, the night shift person said a broken element or some other part needed replacing, which was why it wasn’t heated. There was another mix-up with the laundry. While out running an errand, I called to ask how much the washer and dryer cost so I’d have enough cash to exchange for quarters. When I went to the desk later for quarters, the employee told me the dryer was out of order. The breakfast selection was nice and wide, the staff were nice, and the hotel environment was decent.

Check-in and checkout were quick, and the staff were friendly. There was plenty of parking, the lobby was nice, and the rooms were clean. The hot breakfast choices were good.
