Hotel Indigo Napa Valley by IHG

The location would make me come back: it's easy to get into downtown Napa, and Yountville is only minutes away, so it's a handy base for the valley. The staff were terrific and helped us out several times, especially Laurice. We spent four nights here in June 26. Our room was clean and roomy, with plain, inoffensive decor. It didn't have the personality I've seen at other Hotel Indigo properties. This hotel is a definite step above IHG's value brands like Holiday Inn, though I can understand why it may fall short of expectations set by other US Hotel Indigo hotels. I'd happily use points or a midweek rate to stay again. The high weekend prices might give me pause.

Things went well until our last day. After a day of wine tasting, we came back to find my suitcase ransacked. Nothing was missing, fortunately. The person sent up by the front desk did nothing, and when I later asked at reception what they planned to do, they offered an upgrade that we didn't take since we were leaving the next day. At checkout I was told the manager would call. I still haven't heard from them. Very disappointing.

Ruby made our stay special. She was such a friendly, personable bartender and gave us fantastic service with a great attitude. The hotel was nice too, with clean rooms, a comfy bed, and a location not far from town. We'll come again.

We had a peaceful night's sleep thanks to the quiet location, even though the hotel is close to wineries and local attractions. Breakfast was fresh, had a good variety, and included healthy choices. The staff's warm hospitality stood out, and they were always smiling and ready with helpful suggestions. Check-in was welcoming and easy, with the front desk team making me feel at home. My room was spacious, spotless, and cozy, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. I was thoroughly impressed with my recent stay at Hotel Indigo in Napa CA. and would gladly return or recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service.
