SENZA Hotel

We booked a vineyard suite for three of us, with two beds, for a girls' weekend at hotel senza. It had plenty of room, a great bathroom with heated floors, and a nice patio on the first floor. The staff were friendly, and room service was better than we expected. They also have afternoon wine tastings around the bar. One sink wasn’t working when we arrived, but they fixed it the next day and offered an extra bottle of wine and credit to make up for the trouble. It was also an easy walk to Bistro Don Giovanni’s, a locals favorite, and diamonds and ashes. We had a wonderful stay.

Cyrus at the front desk made us feel at home from check-in, and the rest of the staff were great too. My wife and I are moving between places on our honeymoon, and we had a wonderful time here. It was easy to reach the wineries and restaurants where we’d booked reservations. We love this hotel.

We switched rooms and that made a huge difference. I’d suggest asking for an upstairs unit without the obstruction and plastic fence in the vineyard view. We appreciate that the hotel was able to accommodate us and improve the experience. Before the move, the view from our room, which seemed like a selling point in the photos, was mostly blocked by a large obstruction that hadn’t been disclosed. We also asked staff to arrange a tasting reservation and were pleased they offered, but no reservation had actually been made when we arrived. The TV didn’t work either. When we reported it, staff said they already knew about the problem. Senza has a lovely look and real potential, but these avoidable disappointments left us genuinely unhappy. The property could be something special, yet the broken promises and apparent lack of care for guest satisfaction need attention.

We had a wonderful honeymoon at Senza and can’t wait to visit again. Our first room had a fireplace problem, but the team quickly moved us so we could have a proper stay. We tried both a garden room and a vineyard room, and loved each one. There was construction in the vineyards, though it didn’t interfere with our stay. The location, amenities, and service were all 10/10.
