Conty's Motel

It was a cute spot for the night, close to several shops and restaurants. The room was clean and affordable, and check-in was quick and easy. I’d stay again. I took off a star because it wasn’t luxurious and the furniture looked dated, although my room had seen some renovation.

We came back in the evening after a long day hoping to eat takeout, and then the nightmare started. Cockroaches were crawling on the walls and floor within minutes, more than five, and when I opened the shower curtain there were loads of them in the shower. The sink was broken, the toilet didn’t flush right, and the shower was in bad shape. Under the covers, the white sheets had who knows what on them. We lost our appetite and didn’t sleep that night. I’d booked for me, my wife, and our two kids, ages five and newborn. At check-in the room hadn’t seemed bad during the less than five minutes I was there. Guess that’s what we get for going cheap.

Really enjoyed staying here. It was super clean and affordable, and the front desk staff were helpful and respectful. Thank you, I’d stay again!

The management was mean as hell. The room was kind of clean, but this is a very old hotel that needs updating. The window AC didn’t work, so it was hot and humid, and there was a mold and mildew smell.
