Sea Shell Motel

Inside, the rooms were much nicer than the outside led me to expect, so I was pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was nice, and the room had a stove, sink, and fridge. I also liked the balcony, which was a nice surprise and had plenty of furniture.

The staff were welcoming and the location was great. The room was clean, though very dated, and there was water damage in the bathroom. You can tell the motel has been left as it is for a long time. The old AC was noisy, but it was still good value.

The apartment had a kitchen and a large balcony with a table and chairs, which made it really comfortable. There was a big grocery store about 500 feet away, and the streets nearby were beautiful, clean, and quiet. There's laundry and a big parking lot too. The one thing missing was coffee in the lobby. At night there was no manager in the lobby. We had very noisy, drunk neighbors and nobody available to deal with the problem.

We booked online around 754 pm, then arrived that night to find the hotel closed. Who shuts down at 8 pm? There should be someone on duty around the clock. The company we booked through had no way to reach management and no after-hours number. A number was posted on the door, but the person who answered could only let guests back into their rooms if they were locked out, so he couldn't help us. I wouldn't recommend this place even if it were the last hotel on earth. Things worked out for us in the end. We went to Ft. Myers and found a better, cheaper hotel. We lost nothing in Naples and have no desire to visit again. Your loss, Naples.
