Great Wolf Lodge Naples

It was a packed weekend, but there seemed to be enough staff for all the guests, and the lodge stayed extremely clean despite all the kids around. Everyone we interacted with left a good impression, and the staff seemed happy in their jobs and well cared for by management. The kids had loads of fun and could choose activities to suit their ages and how adventurous they felt. They especially liked the free activities, mini golf, ropes course, and arcade. Great Wolf Lodge isn’t a sit back and relax kind of vacation, so expect to stay active and run around with the kids. We’ll definitely come again.

We liked the restaurants onsite and the water park most. The staff, including front desk and housekeeping, were kind and helpful, and it seemed like everyone was happy to serve guests. People were cleaning all over, even in the game room. We also enjoyed the guest activities, including yoga and the story about Luna. The arm bands were handy for room charges, since we didn’t have to carry wallets. I do have a complaint about the rooms. The themed packages cost a lot, but the amenities didn’t match what I expected. There are only small mini fridges, no in-room microwaves. Each end of each floor has a public microwave by the ice machine. With an indoor water park, I expected guest washers and dryers, but there aren’t any, and there are no balconies to hang things out to dry. We had to drive 5 minutes to a laundry mat. The gift shops were reasonably priced, but we spent a lot in the game room and didn’t win much. The indoor water park is very loud and open, and that’s where all the slides end. Even so, we had a great time.

The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time with friends and our 6 and 7 year old kids. They loved the scheduled activities in the lobby/wolfs den, and the water park was fun, with life jackets available. The food onsite is quite expensive for what you get, so plan meals off site or bring food for the mini fridge if you want to save. There’s a microwave in the ice room. The kids had the Wolf pass, which I believe was worth it, but note that everything has a paid “upgrade.” The Magiquest wand included with the pass cost us an additional $30 for the wand topper. We’ll definitely be back.

There’s lots of seating for parents and plenty of fun things for kids to do. I liked the setup and had a fantastic overall experience. But the food isn’t very good, and last night we were served old food. With prices this high, that shouldn’t happen. The pool area also needs more supervision. There are too many kids without enough oversight. At other locations I’ve visited, there were plenty of lifeguards, and they’d blow the whistle when kids broke the rules. I also had trouble at the kiosk while trying to pay my balance. I didn’t know it would place a $5 hold, and when I saw that total I left to join the long help line. There should always be someone at the kiosk to assist customers with problems. Finally, waiting on hold for 40 mins to hrs just to talk to a representative by phone is too much. People spend a lot to visit. You all need to do better.
