The location was the one upside. The rest of my week here was uncomfortable, and I wouldn’t come back. The lobby looked dirty when I arrived and had a smell that made me think the floors hadn’t been cleaned in ages. I even asked the desk if the area was safe. I looked at three rooms before choosing what seemed like the best option. After a long day at work I didn’t have the energy to find another hotel, though I would have left otherwise. The room had a loose toilet seat, barely warm water, weak air conditioning, a worn out soft mattress, a blanket with holes, flat thin pillows, tiny towels, and rust marks on the shower curtain. The elevator was filthy, and the same stains were still on it and the hallway floors all week. It didn’t seem like those areas were cleaned regularly. Maybe the rate is lower, but I didn’t feel comfortable or confident about the cleanliness or safety, and it wasn’t worth it.

The shower was hot, and it was mostly quiet. Rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the price seemed fair. It’s beside Great Wolf Lodge, though a bit far from some things, with other places not too far away either. Housekeeping woke me before checkout, which I wasn’t thrilled about. I think my neighbors were smokers. That’s Florida and hotels, I guess, but still, it wasn’t a bad stay.

We were in Naples for Valentine’s Day after a three-hour trip, and with no other hotels available nearby, we ended up spending one night here. After check-in they said they couldn’t make a key for our room, so every time we returned we had to get someone to let us in. There was nobody at the desk when we came back, and maintenance staff had to help us each time. The hallways and garage outside people’s rooms smelled strongly of weed. We left after that first night and asked Hotels.com to help us get a refund. I’ll also dispute the charges with AMEX. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! Stay far away.

The staff at Woodspring Suites Naples made a really hard period in my life easier. I was waiting for some property to sell so I could buy a home, and this gave me a place to sleep without one more thing to worry about. I’m grateful to them. The prices are fair, and the rooms are clean and immaculate when people take care of them. I had room service every two weeks, always on time. When the elevator or vending machines broke, they were fixed within a day. I locked myself out more than once because I’m a genius, and the front desk never complained. They made me a new card key right away. I regularly saw staff cleaning or fixing things, never just standing around. It’s a professional, hardworking team. Keep track of your things and any pets you bring, and you can have a clean, enjoyable stay.

I stayed at this Woodspring location with my children and always felt safe. We had no issues, and the front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping teams were all friendly and helpful. That made a real difference to our pleasant stay.
