The Break Hotel

The heated outdoor saltwater pool was such a fun and unusual treat on a cold, rainy night, and the outdoor sauna was wonderful. We also loved the bar's incredible drinks and good food, plus the buffet breakfast was fantastic. Our room was lovely, with nice decor, sweet touches like some chocolate, and an awesome blow-dryer. What a great getaway. We'll be back. ❤️❤️❤️

I liked the hotel's cool vibe and all the thoughtful details, from the decor and pool to the sauna, bikes, and complimentary breakfast. They really try to make your stay pleasant. The gas stove in the room was beautiful and warmed the place quickly. The floors and doors were thin, though. We heard people walking overhead and the TV next door through the connecting door. Since it was off-season and the hotel wasn't sold out, I wish they'd spaced guests out more. Some things looked worn, including the curtains and big decorative pillows, and the bed pillows were so huge I couldn't get comfortable. Someone was working outside my room on two mornings, once at 8am. The complimentary breakfast varied from day to day. On my first and third mornings, there was no complimentary Mimosa or Bloody Mary, which I would've liked. It's cool that there's a bar and restaurant upstairs, though it was too bad neither had anyone in it.

The couples massage was a lovely finishing touch, with such professional, hospitable service. We spent a quiet little weekend at The Break for our anniversary, and it was just right. Since it was off-season, it was nice and peaceful. I can't recommend the hotel enough. We'll absolutely come back sometime.

We come back to this beautiful hotel every winter. It's right on the ocean, with great rooms that feel cozy and plenty of good sights and restaurants nearby. The service is great, and they keep up with maintenance so the place stays in great shape and doesn't show its age. We love the in-room fireplaces, the lobby, the bath products, and the comfortable mattresses. Highly recommend.
