Hyatt House Lax

We had a very good stay at the Hyatt near LAX and would come back. The staff were friendly, everything went smoothly, and we had no major problems. The elevator in the parking garage wasn't working, so carrying our luggage up and down the stairs was difficult. Parking was $26 per night. Since we'd already paid for the room, I wish the hotel had parking for guests or at least offered a lower rate. Breakfast should really be included at these room prices too. Paying for the room, parking, and breakfast starts to feel like nickel and diming, especially when cheaper hotels include the same basic breakfast for free.

The rooftop pool was amazing, with a great atmosphere and a perfect place to relax. The staff helped make the stay stand out. Sasha and Laura on the sales team made setting up my reservation easy from the start. Nick, Sergio, and Nicole at the front desk were friendly, welcoming, and helpful every time I stopped by. I'd definitely stay here again.

I got into Los Angeles almost a day early after my airline moved me up because a snowstorm was coming to Toronto. I was glad not to miss the things I’d booked, but after being up all night I was exhausted, with hours to wait before my 4 p.m. reservation. Kevin and James were at the desk. The hotel was full for Grammy weekend, but they let me settle on the lobby couch. Then James called me back: a room had opened after someone checked out early, and they’d had housekeeping get it ready. They even waived the early check-in fee, just out of kindness. I’m so grateful to both of them for going out of their way to help me get some much-needed sleep. It was a pleasure meeting you, Kevin and James. I’ll stay with you again if I’m back in Los Angeles. The rooms were immaculate, with a beautiful view, and the price was very decent. Everyone was friendly, patient, and accommodating, from the front desk to the restaurant. Ceaser and Kenya were especially amazing. Good vibes all around. Check out the PH level!
