Best Western Plus Executive Residency Antioch Inn

Since I drive a pickup with expensive equipment, I appreciated having security on site. Whenever I looked out the window at my truck, I saw security actively patrolling. It felt professional and reassuring, especially nowadays, and the extra safety for guests is a big plus. My company arranged my stay here, and I've been very happy with it. The room is comfortable, and the staff are friendly. The front desk attendant in particular was extremely kind and helpful.

After the stay, I contacted the property about what happened. The general manager, Raquel Rhea, said we'd be credited for the stay, but after the 3-5 business days she quoted, I still hadn't received anything. Booking.com then told me the property had denied the refund. We had booked a weekend away as a last trip as a family of three before our second child arrived. The pool was the main reason we chose this place. At check-in, the concierge didn't speak to us, even while my three-year-old talked excitedly about the pool. She never mentioned it was closed. Later, she watched us leave the elevator in our swimsuits and head toward the pool, making eye contact without saying a word. I understand that maintenance happens, but we should have been told at check-in or on the way there. It broke my child's heart. There was only one bath towel in the room. I messaged the front desk and got no response. The next morning I went down for more, and it took over 15 minutes to get help. The customer service during and after the stay was extremely poor. This is honestly the worst I've experienced at a hotel. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.

Parking was easy, and we found a spot for our car without trouble. I traveled with my wife and son, and our room was clean with enough space for all of us. Breakfast was good, with fresh food and a few choices. I'd give this hotel five stars.

I used to stay here when I worked in the state, and my dad books here a lot, so it had been great until last week. I checked out on 01/07 after staying 01/05-01/07, then realized I'd left a pair of UGG boots behind. I called the next day to ask if housekeeping had found them. The front desk said she hadn't seen anything but would check with housekeeping early the following morning to see if lost items were kept elsewhere. I never got a call back. I've been calling ever since, but nobody answers the front desk phone. That's why I'm giving it three stars.
