Housekeeping came into my room without knocking while I was taking a shower naked. There was a wall between the bed and shower, so he would have seen me if it wasn’t there. I’m suing the hotel for invasion of privacy, and I’ve also reported it to hotels.com. I’ll never stay at this motel again, and I’ve advised everyone not to stay here either.

I told the front desk woman what had happened, and she apologized. When I asked for a refund, she said I’d need to wait 30 minutes to speak with the manager. Later, I called one of their representatives to ask for a full or partial refund. He said he’d discuss a partial refund with the manager and call the next day, but nobody called, and I received neither a full nor partial refund. I consider the way they handled this gross, dirty, unprofessional, and unsafe. This place and neighborhood don’t deserve even one star, but that’s the only way to leave a review. They deserve negative ten stars! The incident happened 15 to 17 minutes before checkout. A tall, older, light skinned Indian man, about 6 feet tall and White passing, who was housekeeping banged loudly on my door twice, opened it, and kept trying to come in while repeating “check-out.” I yelled at him several times to close the door, then had to shut it myself. Luckily I was dressed and about to leave, but I didn’t deserve that. I told the woman at the front desk everything. This was a horrible, unsafe facility. Stay away from it and the neighborhood. The experience left me with deep regret, and nobody deserves that. Save for a luxury resort or stay home. Never stay at a cheap motel in Nashville, Tennessee.

The place was dirty and badly run down, like nobody maintained it. The bathroom light and TV remote didn’t work, the plug outlets looked bad, and the phones seemed old. The bathtub hadn’t been cleaned, and daylight showed through the door. Everything looked like it was falling apart.

I’m sorry I rented a room here. They made me feel like I was a burden, and I was borderline ready to check out from the moment I arrived because the place gave me a bad feeling. I’m an out of town trucker and didn’t know what to expect, but checking in through an outside window at 7pm made me feel unwelcome. The room was way below par: very dirty, an uncomfortable bed, and a toilet and bathtub that were laughable. The microwave wasn’t plugged in because there weren’t enough outlets, so I had to move it to the other side of the room just to plug it in. I stayed anyway because I was exhausted after driving the truck for two days. The price went up substantially for the second night. Hotel gentrification? When I checked out, I barely made it to my vehicle before the woman rushed into the room as if I’d stolen everything. I’m sure she saw I hadn’t taken anything and had actually left the room cleaner than when I arrived. I’m respectful and have some class. Before trucking, I worked the front desk at several very nice, clean, organized hotels, so I know how things should be. I’m not saying these are bad people, and I think they mainly mean well, but nothing and nobody is perfect, so anything and everything can and needs to improve. I hate complaining, but I’d want my family to know what to expect. Keep in mind some reviews may be fake because they need to raise their score, but use enough common sense to figure out what’s real.

During the winter storm, my boyfriend and I lost power and finally decided to book one night at hermitage inn. We were shocked by what we paid for the room. The heat didn’t even work, and I’d give the place zero stars if I could.
