Hillside Crossing Nashville

I hate leaving a bad review, but people should know what happened. Our flights were delayed and we were due to land around midnight, so we called the motel to check about arriving after 12. We were told it would be fine and to ring the number on the door for help. When we got there at 12:30 a.m., it was dark and no one was around. After calling several times, someone finally picked up. A woman arrived in a car with a small dog and smelled of weed. We just wanted our key and some sleep. She tried something on the keypad, then said she couldn't help because she couldn't find our name and the booking was probably canceled as a no-show after midnight. We explained we'd called earlier that day and had been assured a late arrival was okay. She apologized, told us to call again if we figured something out, locked the door, got in her car, and drove away. We had to drive around at 1 a.m. looking for somewhere else to sleep. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had.

The rooms weren't the best, which makes sense for what they cost, but Angel at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The guy on the graveyard shift was great too. The staff made the stay decent.

The location wasn't ideal for the venue, but the room was lovely. I had a queen bed, a great shower, and a smart TV with Netflix and other apps, which you don't usually get at other hotels. There was a coffee maker, though no cups for it. In general, a good hotel, and booking through super.com saved me a lot.

Karen is so kind and genuine with me, and she always makes that extra effort. I really appreciate it. A smile or thoughtful gesture can mean a lot when someone might be having a rough day. You can tell she is right where God wants her to be. Sorry for going on, but I wanted to make sure this sweet woman got the credit she deserves. Thanks more than you know.
