We really liked how the hotel was close enough to walk to food and music, yet far enough away that noise wasn't a problem. The staff were friendly and quick to help, and the room was clean with great shower pressure and temperature. Breakfast went beyond the usual eggs and potatoes: they served pulled pork or chicken, switched up the sausage each day, and had toppings for making bowls. The waffles came with flavored syrups and toppings too. The hotel feels older with a facelift, but the work was done well and everything was clean. Our one complaint was the so-called city view. It looked onto a parking deck with cars at our level, about two yards from the window, so we had to keep the blinds shut.

The team made a great impression. Miss Dee at reception was friendly, and the housekeeping and breakfast staff were quick and professional. Even the valets greeted me though I wasn't using their service. The room felt dated. My refrigerator was extremely loud, and I could hear doors slamming and toilets flushing through the night. The pillows were very soft, which isn't to my taste, though that's personal preference. One elevator was out while the elevators are being updated. That didn't cause me trouble, and I'm glad they're taking care of it. It's very close to Broadway and in a good spot, but I'm unsure whether I'd choose it again.

The entrance could be marked better. It's a nice place, and our room had been updated, though some paint was peeling after repairs. The couch bed wasn't comfortable. Parking costs 56 a night.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel, and David N was a delight to chat with. He made sure we had what we needed. The staff overall were wonderful, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the well-maintained rooms in shape. We could walk to Broadway, but the hotel was far enough away that it didn't keep us up. I'd stay here again on my next trip.

Everything downtown is close by, and the accommodations were nice. The front desk, housekeeping, and valet teams were all top notch. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it.
