The good parts were the location and breakfast. It’s right by vanderbuilt univ., with good restaurants within walking distance, and there’s a complimentary shuttle that gets you close to downtown. The breakfast had a nice range of food, juice, and coffee. The driver was polite, but the van played loud rap music that felt a little unprofessional, especially with young kids aboard. Getting a ride back took longer, though the shuttle eventually came. The underground parking deck felt a bit sketchy at night, but we had no problems. What spoiled the stay was having no hot water. They knew about the issue when we checked out and still charged full price, offering only “points” to make up for it. After a long day in Nashville in mid-December, I wanted a hot shower. This was a nice hotel in a nice location, but probably my last stay with this chain.

The room was a decent size, and breakfast was okay, but a 9 a.m. closing time sharp wasn’t ideal. The front desk assistant with red hair was pleasant and sympathetic, though there was nothing she could do about the lack of hot water. We stayed four nights and never had any. Midway through, they offered us a different room, but we’d just returned late and my spouse was unwell, so we turned it down. The room wasn’t clean either. I found a 2024 boarding pass under the coffee table on the rug, which made me think it hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. I expected more from a Hilton, where you’d assume the room would be clean and have hot water. I contacted the manager, Nick Boulas, through LinkedIn and got no reply. I also heard other guests discussing the water problem and found old reviews that mentioned it. Since the issue is known, I’d suggest choosing another Nashville hotel. There are plenty to pick from.

The hotel was spotless, even the gym, pool, laundry room, and restrooms. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The location is perfect, and the shuttle service was great. I highly recommend it.

Earl, the shuttle driver, got us where we needed to go on time and was really helpful. He even suggested a restaurant that we ended up loving. The front desk staff were kind whenever I spoke with them. We really enjoyed our stay: the suites were clean, comfortable, and spacious, with plenty of room for our things without feeling cluttered. The free breakfast each morning was delicious and had a great selection.

The sink barely drained, and I’d have thought housekeeping would tell maintenance so it could be cleared. Somehow that seemed to be left for the guest to deal with. At breakfast I asked about gluten-free bread and there wasn’t any. The coffee was cold too, even at 6 a.m., so I had to warm it in their microwave. This was pretty disappointing for a Hilton, especially across from a major university. It’s an okay hotel, but I expected more.
