The room door was the part that worried me most. It was barely attached to a bent frame with a loose screw. It did lock, but a solid shoulder bump could have taken it down. The indoor pool area was in rough shape too, with lots of mold, bubbled and chipped ceiling paint, and rust everywhere. Things looked like they were falling apart, and the hot tub was colder than the pool. In the bathroom, a five-minute shower left at least half an inch of water covering the floor. Either the drain was very slow or the slope wasn't steep enough. The toilet wasn't fully bolted down, so water got trapped under it. We used a lot of towels trying to soak it up and push it back toward the shower drain. I could have complained, but I didn't care enough, especially after reading that other guests had been threatened or accused of things when they raised issues. The staff barely interacted with us outside check-in and checkout. These things didn't really bother me since it was cheap and you get what you pay for. We got a good laugh out of how bad it was. But if you wouldn't find the humor in it, steer clear. I've stayed in plenty of crappy hotels, and this one takes the cake.

The room and common areas felt unsafe and poorly maintained. The hallway was full of trash bags and overflowing bins, there were screws on the elevator floor, and the elevator keypad was missing panels with wires exposed. Inside the room, there were screws on the floor and under the bed, so walking without shoes didn't feel safe. The floors were dirty, the shower sprayed everywhere, and the curtain was useless. A nightstand handle was broken and missing a screw, a ceiling light fixture was missing with wires showing, and the bathroom had a hairdryer mount but no hairdryer. The side-door key scanner was broken open with exposed wiring too. We arrived around 6 p.m. on 2/20/26, expecting a Super 8 based on the booking, but this wasn't one. The property was very dirty and neglected. Staff were outside smoking instead of at the desk, and we waited 10-15 minutes ringing the bell before they came to check us in. They kept AirPods in and showed no interest in a professional conversation. My confirmation email said the security deposit was $50.00, but at check-in the employee tried to charge $60.00 and gave me attitude when I showed the email. I asked for a receipt and didn't get one. We also had to go down for towels. The employee handed me a trash bag and told me to bring the old ones back for an exchange. After I returned, they disappeared for about 10 minutes, then took me into the employee closet and told me to grab what I needed and leave quickly. It felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional. We were very disappointed by the cleanliness, staff, and safety. I won't stay here again, and I'd strongly encourage anyone with a reservation to find another place.

The pool was heated nicely, but the hot tub was ice cold. Breakfast was listed on the website, yet there wasn't any this morning. I wouldn't stay here again.

The front desk employee was very sweet and tried to help with the TV, but even the remote she had there wouldn't work. In our room there was no TV remote, the phone had no cord and wasn't plugged into the wall, the toilet wouldn't flush, and there was no coffee for the maker. We also had no towels, the alarm clock radio didn't work, and the bed squeaked horribly whenever we moved. There wasn't a continental breakfast, either, despite the advertisement. The sheets were stained and dingy, though the mattress itself was clean and had no bed bugs. The couch had nasty-looking stains and there were gross spots on the floor. Both elevators were out of order, the stair carpet was filthy, and nearly every second-floor room door was battered and badly in need of paint. We were extremely disappointed.
