Super 8 Hermitage Nashville

We rented for a week, March 25 to April 1. The room was nice and clean, and I liked that there was no carpet. Breakfast was very basic: toast, cereal, waffles, coffee, juice, instant oatmeal, and apples. Staff seemed nice enough, and the location is decent, though traffic is heavy. What really disappointed me was the indoor pool sitting empty on an 80-degree day. I don’t understand why an indoor pool is seasonal, closed until around May 31 and then until September. If I’d read more carefully or known that, I would’ve picked another place, since a few nearby hotels had their indoor pools open. I was looking forward to swimming. The property should consider opening it sooner. I could’ve rented next door for maybe $470, with no pool but a full-size stove and kitchen.

I left and went next door to Woodsuites, which was much cleaner and closer to the quality I expected. As soon as I entered this room, I saw the TV didn’t work. There was blood on the bathroom wall and hair all over the floor, and the mini fridge hummed loudly the whole time. I had to unplug it just to get some peace. I immediately wanted a refund. The room was unacceptable and not worth the supposedly cheap price. Saving a few dollars wasn’t worth it. This was easily the worst hotel or motel I’ve experienced.

The staff were polite and tried to help where they could, but that couldn’t make up for the hotel’s poor condition. This stay was far below expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend the property unless major improvements are made. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the drinking cups still had hair from previous guests. The bathtub drain was clogged, and the chairs were old, worn, and damaged. Breakfast was advertised as included, but it was only basic snacks like pancakes and cereal. The breakfast area was messy, coffee ran out, and I had to ask twice for someone to make more. When I asked for creamer, I was told it was finished and unavailable. There was no bottled water in the room as I expected with the stay, and when I asked, I was told I had to buy it. This is my personal experience from the stay.

Thank you, Super 8 in Hermitage TN, for a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Most of all, the front desk service was excellent, friendly, and professional.
