We loved the bar and restaurant in the hotel, and ended up eating and having coffee there many times. I don’t usually eat at hotel restaurants, but this one impressed me with tasty food and drinks at reasonable prices. The hotel was nice and clean, with kind, welcoming staff. The valet guys were terrific and helpful, and the rooms were so chic and modern. It’s in a fantastic location, within walking distance of Broadway St and Ryman. This is my new favorite hotel in the area.
We had a comfortable, clean room on the 4th floor, and it was so quiet we never heard noise inside or outside. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom looked beautiful, and the water was hot with good pressure. Broadway was an easy walk away. The hotel was beautifully decorated and curated. It was quite a splurge for us, but if we’re lucky enough to return, we’d choose Bankers Alley again. A couple of things could be better. The floor-to-ceiling blinds were hard to slide, leaving a bright strip of sunlight on us in the morning. There was no overhead light, and even with the lamps on, the room felt dark. Our GPS took us to the back of the building, which was confusing. Valet is on 2nd St, not 3rd St. Valet parking at $60 a day seemed expensive. I also found a 2-3 inch scratch on my rear door after the trip. Worse, an app paired with my vehicle alerted me that the valet had left all the doors unlocked. I was able to lock them from my phone, but other hotel guests have also reviewed that their cars were left unlocked and then rifled through by thieves. It makes me wonder if this is intentional on the valet company’s part, and I’m very concerned hotel management hasn’t done more to fix the issue.
We had a good time and would stay here again. The location is very walkable, just a couple blocks from Broadway, and the room was clean and comfortable. The mattress suited me perfectly, though I personally prefer firmer pillows. Check-in was easy, and the front desk agent was friendly and helpful. We used valet, which I think was $60 a night, because it was convenient. There’s also a garage half a block away, though I don’t recall the price and think it wasn’t much cheaper. The valet staff were friendly. The onsite bar and restaurant has a coffee bar too. At check-in they gave us a couple of guitar picks for coffee. I’m not sure if everyone gets those or if it was tied to Hilton Honors status. We had coffee, breakfast, appetizers, and drinks there one evening; the food was good and the staff were all friendly. I’ll review the restaurant separately. We came for a January weekend and booked ahead with points through the Hilton app. One tip: Google Maps sent us to a side street half a block from the entrance. If that happens, turn right at the stop sign.
Our team of 20 stayed at Bankers Alley Hotel for a three-day corporate event, and we felt welcome and well looked after throughout. The staff were outstanding, from the front desk to the corporate event coordinator. The rooms were modern, and the restaurant area was chic and fun. The conference rooms were comfortable and well equipped for our sessions. We also appreciated the amenities, including a complimentary tour of the hotel’s art collection and a free yoga class for anyone interested. Meeting the event coordinator in person when we arrived helped everything run smoothly, and the events team was available for last-minute questions throughout. Food and drinks were top-notch, and every detail was handled with care and professionalism. I’d highly recommend Bankers Alley for business events or leisure stays.
The location was wonderful for my husband’s 50th birthday. All eight of us could easily walk everywhere. The front desk called my room a “presidential suite,” but it felt much smaller than I expected. That wasn’t a huge deal since we weren’t in Nashville to sit in the room, but we’d paid for a nice balcony so our group could hang out during the day and plan the evenings. Its overhead umbrella was broken. We called the front desk several times over the first few days and were told someone would fix or replace it, but nobody came. Three days into the stay, someone finally looked at it and laughed, saying they’d told people a few times to replace it, then asked if we wanted them to try replacing it right then. It was never fixed or replaced. Four outlets in the room didn’t work, making it hard to charge phones and electronics at night. There were just too many problems for the price. I’ve always liked Hilton Tapestry hotels, but this stay will make me reconsider staying with them.
