The historic property is beautifully decorated and full of history to explore. The lower-level bathrooms, gallery, and foyer all stood out, and the location is great, close to Broadway but away from the noise. The gym is spacious and well equipped, including a Peloton bike. Service was superb from the friendly valet greeting through the professional, polite reception. The rooms are spacious with the usual five-star amenities, plus thoughtful touches like turndown service, a fresh bowl of fruit and mints by the bed, and luggage arranged on stands. An amazing hotel with real attention to detail.

I got married here ten years ago, and it was the most fabulous experience I could have imagined. I gave it four stars because I’m just not a fan of downtown, that’s all. I stayed in a suite that night, which was amazing, and I’ve been back since. Everything from the valet and doormen to reception has been really friendly and supportive. It’s got history and elegance, and feels like a real experience if you don’t want another cookie-cutter hotel. Definitely recommend.

The tea service here, done with Draper James, really made our visit. We heard about it when we checked in, and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The tea and food were terrific, and Aman was attentive, friendly, and always smiling. We really appreciated his service and are having a beautiful time at the hotel.

Being able to bring our pets during the ice storm gave us a much-needed night of respite. Thank you for being good neighbors and going above and beyond for the local community. Your team, from the door and desk to housekeeping and room service, was kind and helpful. You were a bright spot in a very hard time, and an asset to this city. You embody spreading love because it’s the Nashville way. You’ll have my business forever.

The room situation was a real shock, even though the reception staff themselves, along with the doormen, cleaning team, and restaurant staff, were seriously nice and polite. That’s why I raised my rating to three stars. Still seething about what happened. I was there with a large conference group, and at check-in I was told there was no room for me until the next day. They suggested I share with someone from the conference, didn’t look into what had gone wrong, made it seem like my fault, and offered no apology. The group also wasn’t given its discounted rate until someone asked. Another person eventually gave up their room for me and arranged it with reception, but the desk never called or offered help moving rooms. I had to go down and get a new key. They also insisted I check out and check back in the next day instead of letting me keep the same room. The rooms don’t have a tea or coffee maker. There’s no water bottle unless you accept turndown service. If you don’t want that service, put ‘no’ on your door, or you might come back around 7 or 7:30 pm and find someone in your room, like I did.
