We had a quiet, easy stay and loved the hotel's design. The colors in our room echoed the large stained-glass church window, and it looked gorgeous with the drapes open. We had all the amenities we needed, including Goo Goo clusters, and there was an ice machine just across the hallway. The Russell was perfect for an East Nashville staycation, with bars, restaurants, and music venues an easy walk or quick Uber away. I'll recommend it to friends visiting from out of town who want a change from the downtown hustle.

Room 2:6 was quiet, and The Russell's East Nashville location made it easy to enjoy the area while staying away from Broadway's craziness. A short, easy Lyft ride got us there. We had a great three-night stay in the beautiful building. The lobby was lovely, the gift basket was a nice touch, and free on-site parking is a big plus. We walked to dinner one night and had lots of places to choose from.

The room and decor were a lot of fun for our birthday stay in the bunk room. My sister and I both had a great time. I stay in hotels around 15 days a month for work, and this was the cleanest room I've ever had. There's a refrigerator in the room and a microwave on the floor. The neighborhood is beautiful, with several local businesses within walking distance. Check-in was easy, and free parking is almost unheard of. I'll always stay here when I visit family in Nashville. Such a great find!

I was able to leave my luggage in the lobby lockers after checkout, then explore the neighborhood and meet friends for lunch before heading to the airport. It was great not having to drag my bags around town. My one-night stay in room 1:4 was wonderful. The room was clean and nicely laid out, with great pillows, and I didn't hear any outside noise. The building is beautiful and unique. The lobby and common area were open, bright, pretty, and cozy, a nice place to read or meet people. There was a little snack basket, too, which I appreciated. I prefer The Russell to a larger hotel; it suits my vibe much better. I look forward to coming back.

We ended up extending our stay by a night because we loved the place so much. It was our first visit to TN and our 12th anniversary, and staying here felt every bit as romantic and special as when we got married in Turks and Caicos. My husband said I outdid myself finding it, so here's to many more years of marriage, thanks to The Russell Hotel! The property was beautiful and peaceful, and we felt completely safe and comfortable. The amenities were top quality, from the Dyson blow dryers and plush robes to the lovely-smelling soaps and shampoos. Every detail seemed well thought out, including the snacks, easy parking, and clear directions. Thanks for making our stay one of the best. We'll definitely be back. #RussellNashville #buzzybooth
