I had the fried catfish, and it was cooked just right, moist inside with a tasty seasoned coating. The fries were crisp, not soggy, and very good too. Our server was friendly and attentive. There was a large group ahead of us, so I appreciated being told there’d be a short delay; once they were settled, we got taken care of. The place has a spacious bar and seating area, a short walk from the Natchez Grand Hotel, and around a dozen beers on tap, mostly craft brews.

The burger and loaded fries were great, and the food came out hot with quick service. It’s a cute waterfront spot in a historic building with a warehouse feel. There was live music, with a cover charge after 9pm. I’ll definitely be back.

We stopped at The Rabbit Hole before the evening crowd, and got to sit and chat with the bartender and kitchen crew, which was a real treat. Everyone was welcoming and seemed to care about what they do. The drinks were fantastic, thoughtfully made and just right for settling in for the evening. If you’re in Natchez, I’d definitely make a stop. It feels good as soon as you walk in.

The drinks were good and the atmosphere was nice. Our bartender was also our server, and we had to wait a lot for him to remember us. The spinach artichoke dip wasn’t for us, but the onion rings and hamburgers were fabulous.

The fried green tomatoes were next level, and the chicken sliders had loads of flavor. Coconut shrimp hit the spot too, and the margarita was perfectly made. Bowie’s Rabbit Hole has a cool vibe, was super clean, and the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. It’s a hidden gem by the river walk. If you’re in Natchez, whether passing through or living nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in.
