Comfort Inn & Suites Zachary

The staff went out of their way in lots of ways to make my three-month work assignment comfortable. The rooms were clean, nice, and comfortable, and I had no problems or concerns during my stay. This is the best hotel around here for comfort, location, and what a hotel in the area offers. I'll visit again. Thanks, Comfort Inn and Suites of Zachary Louisiana.

We booked this place for travel ball because it was convenient, but the room was full of mold, and other families had the same problem. The bathrooms were filthy, the showers didn't work properly, and there was an empty condom wrapper on the floor. You can see where they've painted over mold, and other ball parents said this has been going on. We may all end up sick. Whoever owns the place should walk through the third floor and either invest in fixing it or sell it to someone who will. Painting over mold doesn't solve anything. This place needs major work, and there's no excuse for these conditions. Don't stay here.

The room itself was clean, with comfortable beds and great air conditioning. The hotel is fairly new and well located, especially for the ball park, but the building and furnishings haven't been maintained. Staffing also seems thin. At about 3:30 on Friday, five of us were checking in and just one young woman was working. She handled paperwork, asked people to wait while she checked whether rooms were clean, rode the elevator to inspect them, then came back with the key cards. The whole process took nearly 45 minutes. She was very nice and apologetic, but check-in shouldn't have to work like that.

The continental breakfast was amazing, and the cook was awesome. The team is professional, helpful, and makes you feel welcome. Great management. I love this hotel.
