We paid around $220-$260 total for two nights. The location is good and the price is friendly, and the rooms and hotel look updated and new, but the amenities and functionality weren't there. The AC was controlled manually, so we couldn't adjust the room temperature. It was too hot the first night, then too cold on the second, and we ended up unplugging the unit because it was blasting cold air while it was 30 degrees outside. There was no microwave, safe, or iron and ironing board in the room. When we asked for an iron, they gave us one and we had to iron on the bed. There was nowhere to hang or store clothes, so we used the bell hop as a makeshift closet for our two-night stay. No housekeeping was done, so we took our own trash out and had to grab bath towels from a hallway cart. Food left by the previous guest was still in the fridge. The in-room phone was just a prompt and didn't work, so we had to call the front desk on a cell phone. We wouldn't stay here again. If you're used to better accommodations, book somewhere else in this small city.

The room was clean and comfortable, though the pillows made a bit of noise. The hygiene products smelled great, but the body wash hadn't been refilled. On the second day while I was out, the front desk called to say the elevator had broken and a repair person would try to fix it. They were responsive. I'd stay here again if I'm in the area.

The management staff were great and the location was good, but staying here at these rates was missing some basic hotel conveniences, even though the hotel is new. The bathroom floor hadn't been mopped, and we spent three nights in a hot room because the hotel controlled the AC manually. The ice machine on our floor didn't work, there were no microwaves, and the room phones weren't set up to call room service or the front desk. The pillows were very hard.

I've stayed in plenty of hotels over the years, but this one was the least prepared. There wasn't even a basic option to buy something to heat up when you needed a quick bite. It's less than adequate. If you plan to stay in business, you need to do better.

We loved our stay here. The hotel is beautiful, and the views from the back porch and river-side rooms are stunning, especially at sunset. Our room was spotless, modern, and really cozy. The pool was a nice bonus, and every staff member we met was pleasant and friendly. Definitely recommend it for a future stay.
