I walked around barefoot and my feet turned black. The floor clearly hadn't been scrubbed in a long time.

The only good things were the affordable price and being close to disney. The sheets, towels, and shower curtains were all dirty, so the rooms weren't clean at all. It's ironic that earlier comments mentioned the maid worrying about customers returning dirty towels when the towels were dirty to start with. At check-in, the man behind the window kept repeating that there was a required $20 cash deposit. I told him that policy hadn't been mentioned online, but he just kept saying the same thing. That was the first problem.

I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews before our San Diego trip, but the room turned out perfect. The room was clean, the AC worked, we got fresh towels every day, and the WiFi worked too. Staff were friendly. 5/5, would recommend.

I was so upset. My wife and I arrived at 9:45 and waited until the housekeeper urged me to go to the office to check in at 11. Another regular guest arrived and said our room was ready, since we were regulars and had prepaid. When I went in, the older gentleman's wife told me to come back in 30 minutes. The other guest said he was going to check in, and she told him to return in 10 minutes. After ten minutes I went back. The older gentleman, who I understand to be the manager, told me to come back at 2 PM, three hours later. The other regular guest went into the office and was checked in by him, then headed to his room smiling. I went back to ask why I couldn't check in while he checked in that guest, who was a different race. He said the guest had paid an early check-in fee, but the guest told me he hadn't. He also said this was discrimination. After another hour, the older attendant checked me in. I found him arrogant and very unpleasant. The attendant blatantly discriminated against us by not letting us check in even though the housekeeper had said our room was ready. It's all recorded on the security system.
