Natural Bridge Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The parlor suite gave the three of us plenty of room, with the two bathrooms especially useful. Its two queen beds were in a separate room from the living area, so one person could sleep while the others stayed up. We were there January 24, 25, and 26 of 2026, hoping for a safe, warm place for my son during the snow and ice storm. The staff were amazing. Our room was on the third floor and the elevator was out, but two young men kindly helped carry all our things upstairs. The only things I'd suggest are mentioning in the room description that the full kitchen has no stove, and letting guests know at booking if the elevator is down. Otherwise, everything was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The morning light showed off a lovely outdoor area, and there's a direct walk from the hotel to the state park, with a great trail starting right across the street. I wished we'd come in summer. We arrived around 9pm on a road trip, with a same-day reservation. The clerk was sweet and helpful, and booking through a third-party site caused no trouble. Our room was lovely, clean, and nicely updated, and the bed and pillows were especially comfortable. I liked the feel of the huge historic building. There were quite a few stinkbugs in the room, as other reviews mention, and a warning about them at the front desk. I think complaints about that are a little unfair: it's an old building in a state park, where they can't spray everything with pesticides. The bugs weren't gross or noisy and didn't bother us, though we're professional sailors and used to being outdoors, so keep that in mind if bugs are an issue for you. Breakfast was a small continental spread, with no hot eggs or anything, but similar to what I've had at many places. When I tried adjusting the thermostat, its control fell right out of the wall socket. It didn't affect us since the room was cozy, but I hope I didn't break anything. It looked like it hadn't been screwed in properly. A really fun hidden gem, much nicer than a motel 6, with friendly staff!

We picked this hotel mainly for stargazing at Natural Bridge, a Dark Sky Park, and the clear winter sky was a lucky break. The Milky Way was faint but still very visible. We went out around 8-10 PM without moonlight getting in the way, and walking through the tunnel to the parking lot on the other side made it easy. When we went out again at 5 AM to see the moonlit stars, the staff greeted us politely. They were super friendly. The bed was incredibly comfortable, too. I'd stay here again if I came back in summer to stargaze.

The Tavern was a highlight for us. The food was fresh, delicious, and nicely prepared, and the friendly, attentive service made us feel welcome throughout. Our room at the Natural Bridge Hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is very convenient, just steps from the Natural Bridge and other local attractions. We had a wonderful visit, with great dining and a relaxing stay in a beautiful historic area. Highly recommend!
