The breakfast Jeanna made was just what we needed before a long day on the road, and it was delicious. After a warm spring day, the hot tub was a lovely extra. We only stayed one night while passing through on the way to Minnesota, but the clean, charming house made it feel like a perfect stop. With temperatures in the mid 70s, we walked a few blocks through the quiet neighborhood to the local park and felt very safe. Jeanna is FABULOUS!!!

We had so much fun taking part in the murder mystery dinner. Whispering Pines was our first B&B in this area, and it exceeded what we expected. Jeanna was friendly and helpful from our first phone conversation right through checkout, and her food was delicious. The house felt welcoming and was incredibly clean. We were close to extending our stay because we were so happy there, and can’t wait to come back, whether it’s for a couples getaway or a trip with the kids.

Our dog settled in right away and inhaled the homemade biscuit left for him when we arrived. Jeanna, the innkeeper, was kind and quick to respond, and the breakfast was delicious, such a nice start to the day. The rooms are lovely, and both the house and grounds are gorgeous. We had a great time at Whispering Pines and will definitely be back!

The Roost in the barn was so cozy, with plenty of rustic charm. Jeanna, the owner, is the sweetest, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was amazing too. This Bed & Breakfast does not disappoint, and I’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, with a brook and firepits, and it’s a great spot for a quiet getaway in SE Nebraska. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and Jeanna was a great host. We had wonderful breakfasts on both days of our stay at this fabulous B&B in Nebraska City.
