For a business trip, this was a great stay. Everything felt new or recently renovated, and the rooms are clean, tastefully decorated, and practical. I’d happily come back. The one small drawback is that there aren’t any in-room safes, though hopefully that’s an easy fix.

The breakfast selection is modest, though it stayed stocked and well maintained. A few more food choices and evening service would help for stays longer than a few days. Still, the quiet rooms, cleanliness, and attentive staff make this a stronger option than similar mid-tier hotels nearby. Around 4.3 out of 5 seems fair. The rooms are roomy and arranged well for a longer visit, with useful kitchen areas, enough desk space, and reliable Wi-Fi for remote work. Common spaces and guest rooms are kept to a high standard, and the corridors stayed quiet late at night and early in the morning. The lobby and fitness room were also clean and rarely crowded. Check-in was quick even at busy times, and the front desk handled routine requests promptly. There’s parking on site, and nearby corporate offices and Route 128 make commuting fairly easy.

We planned a staycation around the pool, checking ahead that it was available because the kids were especially excited to swim. After checking in and changing, we went down and found a sign saying it was closed. The front desk said they were waiting for a maintenance person. When we asked again the next day, a different staff member said it would remain closed, but offered to call a nearby Marriott to see whether we could use its pool. Luckily, they said yes, so we went there instead. At the other hotel, the desk staff said this happens a lot because Needham ordinances require a "registered pool safety tech" on staff for the pool to open. That left us unsure whether the problem was maintenance or staffing, and the lack of a clear explanation was disappointing. If you're hoping for a fun swimming weekend with your kids, I'd look elsewhere. Don't count on this pool being open.

Breakfast was the usual selection, but the staff working there were really helpful and nice. The rooms were very clean and had what you'd need for a night or even ten. The place has been updated recently, and the lobby and bar seating area looked modern and well put together. Highly recommend it.
