Motel 6 Tinton Falls

The room was supposed to be non-smoking but reeked of cigarettes. It was also dusty and dirty, with a terrible smell. Roaches of all sizes crawled around at night, and when I reported them, staff acted as if they didn't believe me even though I had videos. My son and I were also bitten many times by some kind of insect or mite, possibly bedbugs. I told the staff about that too. The location and the hotel water were positives, but our room wasn't serviced during the stay. The microwave was broken, and the replacement we requested twice never arrived. I also asked for a partial refund, which I haven't received. I have about 14 bites and my son has 7, and they're swollen and itchy, so we'll be going to a local urgent care. I wish I could upload videos or photos to support what I'm saying, but this platform doesn't let me. One star feels too generous. Avoid room 132, you'll be eaten alive.

The hotel was quiet and inexpensive, and my room was clean. Mike at the front counter was really nice and helpful. Thanks, Mike!

The property as a whole is run-down and needs refreshing, with no nearby shops or ice cream parlors. In the room, the beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. The fridge and shower worked, but the AC/heating unit was loud enough to wake me in the middle of the night. One piece of furniture was missing a door, and its finish was scratched and cheaply made.

Room 128 was spacious, quiet, and clean, and we both slept really well on the comfortable mattress. The water pressure was just right, and the bathtub was relaxing. The area was peaceful too, and our service dog Manni got to enjoy some morning laps. It may not look luxurious, but it was comfortable, which mattered most to us. The staff were professional, courteous, and friendly to disabled families with pets. As a disabled veteran, I felt respected and accommodated. This veteran approves!
