Broad Street Inn

The backyard was gorgeous in the sunshine, and the room was comfortable. We could walk to everything we wanted to see around town. Julie and Ron were incredibly friendly and gave us lots of local tips, with thoughtful touches that made the weekend feel special. Since I mentioned the trip was a surprise for my partner, they held off calling when it seemed we might be late. And Ron's biscotti is really good, be sure to grab some. We're already planning another visit.

The rooms feel cozy and individual, with clean, thoughtful decor that suits the historic character of Nevada City. You can tell the place is cared for. Julie was attentive and welcoming, and Ron's homemade biscotti by the coffee was a treat during a quiet morning on the patio. Broad Street is a great spot, just steps from restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. We enjoyed having it as a base for exploring, as well as somewhere to relax and take in the town's small-town feel. Can't wait to come back.

The price felt right, and we’d happily stay here again. Julie and Ron take time to get to know guests and make the inn feel homey. Our room was comfortable, warm, and inviting, and the whole stay felt personal and pleasant. The sunroom was a lovely extra, with biscotti, fruit, and coffee. The entire town was within walking distance.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff offered useful suggestions, and there was outdoor seating on the porch, in the yard, and on the patio. The inn sits at the end of town, which made the location ideal. I gave it four stars because the room was very small and really only suited for sleeping.
