Breakfast was included, and it was really nice and free. The lodge sits in the forest, with lots of carefully landscaped grounds, right next to 5-Mile House, which has great food. The rooms are spacious and very nice, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are very friendly.

We showed up on the spur of the moment, and they found room for my husband and me. It felt like being at home. The gardens and grounds are stunning, with walking paths, a great breakfast, and lovely people. It was peaceful and mellow, and we really didn't want to leave. They made it easy to bring our pet, too. The service was warm, friendly, and comfortable. We'll definitely be back. Harmonious indeed! Thank you HRL

Room 2 had plenty of space for our computers, with two chairs and a couple of tables, and the WiFi worked very well. We also had a lovely view of the natural area just outside. After busy days hiking and visiting a friend nearby, we enjoyed reading ourselves to sleep. We spent two days at Harmony Ridge Lodge and were glad we picked this B&B. Melissa and Sage were wonderful hosts, the garden was peaceful and beautiful, and breakfast was delicious. There are excellent restaurants in both Nevada City and Grass Valley, about 15-20 minutes away.

The setting and grounds at Harmony Ridge Lodge made a fantastic backdrop for our wedding. Faith was great to work with and made sure everything was set up and coordinated well for the day. Guests coming from out of town found it convenient to stop just outside Nevada City, near highway 20. We couldn't notice any road noise.

Tongming, the owner, was quick to communicate and flexible whenever we needed something. Faith, the manager, was incredibly helpful and kind. Together, they made us feel at home, and the staff were great to work with. Staying onsite the night before and the night of our wedding made the weekend much less stressful, especially around transportation and having enough time to set up. The weekend package included access to all nine suites, where our wedding party and immediate family stayed with us. Our guests were stunned by the gorgeous grounds. The lodge is beautiful, from the surrounding trees to the blooming flowers. Having our wedding at Harmony Ridge was the best choice we could have made. If you're looking for a beautiful forest setting for a wedding, this is your place!
