Breakfast was delicious, and every room we saw was spotless and well cared for. Beth and John made us feel so welcome. Beth shared interesting bits about the Inn and the area, and had great restaurant suggestions. We also loved meeting Kevin and Steve, the feathered residents. My husband and I just stayed here and would absolutely come back.♡

We’ve visited twice, both times over Christmas, and would happily return. New Bern looks lovely dressed up for the holidays, with plenty to do, from restaurants and shops to the farmers market and antique stores. The Aerie is an easy walk from downtown, and it’s a great spot for a long weekend. The owners and staff are friendly, the rooms are immaculate, and breakfast is delicious.

I grew up around here, so staying overnight let me enjoy New Bern without having to drive home at the end of the day. The Charlotte suit was quiet thanks to good soundproofing, and its view was perfect for settling in with a book. The room lived up to the rest of the stay, and breakfast alone makes this place worth considering. The owners and staff were so welcoming it felt like visiting a friend. Great location for walking downtown. I’ll be back.

The outdoor sitting area was peaceful and lovely, and there’s an adorable kitty who makes guests feel welcome. The building itself is beautiful, and the hosts were very helpful. They took care to make sure my husband’s breakfast was gluten free since he has celiac. Everything we needed was within walking distance, and we plan to return.

It has the feel of a Georgia estate, and both the building and rooms are beautiful. We slept well in a very comfortable bed, and breakfast was great each day. The owners are friendly and accommodating. It’s easy to walk to restaurants, the main street shops, and pretty much anything else we wanted to do in New Bern. I highly recommend staying here and plan to come back.
